Today's ride is postponed for an hour due to drizzle. Figuring that we will ride no matter what starting tomorrow and for the next 29 days, we elected to exercise our right to "ride when we want to" for one more day.
Here is a teeny map for the entire ride to give you an idea of where we are headed -- Seattle to Yosemite. It's about 1310 miles and will net us about 75,300 feet of climbing (14.26 mi.) The little green icons are our stops. When we get started tomorrow, I will post the route for each day.
We will take four layover days -- Hood River, Sisters, Crater Lake and South Lake Tahoe.
Here is the route for Day 1. It's flat for the first part, then we do a little climbing. GPS data shows it will be 43.5 miles and about 1380 ft. of climbing.
Will post more tomorrow after the ride, including some pics of the riders.
